Sick/Covid-19 Office Policy
​Your health and well-being are our top priorities. If you're recovering from COVID-19 or are feeling sick, we recommend waiting until you are fully recovered before scheduling an appointment. Please take a minimum of three weeks to fully recover after a COVID-19 diagnosis. This ensures that you are completely ready and able to benefit from your treatment.

Cancellation Policy
Your appointment and convenience are of high importance. IHG understands that unexpected circumstances may require schedule adjustments. If you need to cancel or change an appointment, please provide a 24-hour notice to
info@integrativehealthgrp.com or (412) 606-0804.

Health Insurance Policy
Health insurance patients are responsible for any charges incurred at Integrative Health Group. This includes:
1. Copay
2. Coinsurance: A $50 cash deposit is made on the day of the first treatment. $50 will cover future treatment coinsurances; at the end of treatments, if there is money left over, it will be refunded to the patient.
3. Treatments not covered by health insurance​: cupping and or other conditions treated that insurance does not cover.
5. Denied claim fee of $110: Integrative Health Group will rectify any denied claims by appealing, but the insurance company ultimately decides to cover the claims. In the rare event that the insurance company refuses to cover the claims, the valid credit card on file will be charged a follow-up acupuncture self-pay fee of $110 for every denied claim.

Before scheduling an appointment, the following three steps must be completed. After all three steps are completed, Integrative Health Group will reach out to schedule.

1. Utilize the "ADD BENEFITS" tab to upload your insurance benefits on file. All insurance patients must have benefits on file. ​
2. If you are using UPMC insurance, a doctor's referral for acupuncture is required; without one your claim will not go through. Please have it faxed to 1 (412) 561-1750.
3. A valid credit card must be on file. After the first two steps have been completed, a credit card agreement will be sent to the same email that was provided on the benefits form.

Once these three steps are completed, Integrative Health Group will reach out to schedule an appointment.

NOTICE
Please complete paperwork prior to treatment.

1. Located at the bottom of your appointment confirmation email, you will find a link to fill out paperwork.
2. If you are a UPMC patient only, an additional questionnaire will be emailed to you. We ask that you print, complete it, and bring it with you to your appointment.
